Who We Serve
Over 25% of crime involving teens happens between 3 and 6pm. By designing and running programs for teens in communities struggling with high crime rates, we are helping to address several needs. YTC's programs are aimed at high school aged students who want a safe place to go after school, want to use their time in creative and productive ways and learn some new, useful skills.
Over twenty-five percent of crime committed by teenagers occurs between three and six p.m. By offering programs for high school students in communities struggling with high crime rates, YTC helps to address several needs. YTC's programs are aimed at students seeking a safe place to go after school, who desire to use their time in creative and productive ways, and who wish to learn practical new skills. YTC programs are specially designed and tailored to operate in any community struggling with poverty, crime, depleted academic resources, and budget constraints.

YTC offers multiple programs in economically disadvantaged school districts of Chicago which service predominantly African American and Hispanic American youth. YTC will continue to operate programs throughout Chicago’s South and West neighborhoods, including Cicero, Illinois. Fall 2009 launched YTC’s first program with Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois
