This year, in your YTC clubroom
Mentors, tutors and teachers from Georgia Tech.
Stuck on a build? The person on the screen is an engineering student a few years ahead of you, who chose to be there. Not a lecture. A second set of hands.
Who they are

Student Makers at Georgia Tech — a student-run club of engineering majors who teach STEM because they want to. They have taught 3D printing, Python and Arduino to students in Kenya, India and across the U.S. Now they are a member of the YTC Global Alliance — the first college club in the network.

What they do for YTC students

They join YTC clubrooms live on Zoom. They mentor the builds, tutor the hard parts, and teach what they know — Arduino, 3D printing, Python. Evanston first; instructors for YTC's Mexico programs next.

Why it works

It is a club, not a program — students who picked this. Their motto, Learn. Make. Showcase. Serve., ends where YTC's begins: students teaching students. And it is the first rung of the YTC ladder above high school — a direct line from a clubroom to Georgia Tech's engineers.
