The Global Alliance shows its promise—and builds a new club in Nigeria.

A new classroom at Victokev Schools in Lagos brings together contributions from across YTC’s Global Alliance: local leadership in Nigeria, a student teacher in Ethiopia and Arduino kits donated through Mozambique. Fifteen students joined Nigeria’s first YTC class.

Eyuel’s school, Haile Manas Academy, was already part of the teaching network. ETHS student Furqaan Idrees helped train him. Now Eyuel is passing that knowledge to students in another country.

YTC Fellow Olumide’s program in Nigeria brings those relationships together. Each partner contributes something another community needs, with YTC coordinating the connections. Knowledge and equipment move between partners, helping a new classroom begin without rebuilding every resource from the ground up.
