Andrea Isita

Andrea brings more than seven years of experience in international programs, humanitarian response, communications and fundraising. A Community Solutions Program Fellow, she joined YTC’s leadership in 2024 and coordinates work across schools, languages and borders. Her experience includes humanitarian operations at the Poland–Ukraine border with CADENA, education communications with Save the Children, and community-focused fundraising with PSYDEH. Under Andrea’s leadership, the $49,700 Mission to Mexico grant expanded a foundation of two original programs into nine grant-program sites across four Mexican states in 15 months. Eight sites continued through the full reporting period; with 16 secondary locations, the network reached 24 locations in all. She connects program delivery with training, evaluation, partnerships and grant accountability.

Andrea is YTC’s CEO and Executive Director in Mexico, but YTC can currently afford only part-time pay. Securing her leadership is central to sustaining the network and preparing its next stage of growth.

Marc Siciliano

YTC’s first Board President · Founder & CEO, Left Bank Consulting

Marc helped build YTC from its beginnings, leading an early program at Lake View High School and joining students on three consecutive trips to Mexico. As YTC’s first Board President, he helped shape its mission and governance. He brings more than twenty-five years of experience in STEM education, partnerships and organizational strategy to YTC’s next chapter.

Read Marc’s full story

Marc’s connection to YTC began in the classroom. At Lake View High School in Chicago, he ran one of YTC’s earliest programs and accompanied students on three consecutive computer-donation trips to Mexico. He saw young people turn technical skills into service, and helped build the organization that would carry that work forward.

As YTC’s founding Board President, Marc helped shape its governance, mission language and commitment to putting students first. His relationship with YTC spans its early international exchanges, the development of its teaching model and the planning for its next stage of growth.

That history is matched by more than 25 years of work in STEM education, workforce development and organizational strategy. At the Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM, he managed a portfolio spanning more than 100 STEM ecosystems in five countries. He now leads Left Bank Consulting, advising schools, nonprofits, cultural institutions and philanthropy on strategy, partnerships and career-connected learning.

For YTC, Marc brings both an understanding of how this organization began and experience building the systems that help educational programs grow. His guidance connects the student-to-student mission with practical planning, accountability and the organizational capacity to sustain expansion.
